HELP! Is this a faint positive 10dpo?

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm going mad here but is there a very faint positive on this pregnancy test? I'm only 10dpo but I'm not sure if the line should be darker if I am pregnant. They are the first response early tests so meant to be super sensitive. I have been having some brown discharge spotting for the last few days which could be implantation bleeding? I had a miscarriage early Feb and then had an MVA about 4 weeks ago so this is the first month ttc since so I just couldn't wait to do a test even though I knew it would be a bit early 🙈 can anyone else see a faint line or am I going crazy? It's more noticeable when you hold the test up to the light and tilt it.

It’s still very early and yes I see a faint line. Retest after 24/48 hours. And (whispers) congrats!

@Womeninblack thanks for replying! I'm glad I'm not going crazy as my husband said he couldn't see a line at all. Will definitely retest tomorrow as I don't think I can wait 48 hours 🤣

Update, can someone please help? I'm now 11dpo, Tesco's own brand tests are negative as are the cheap one step tests (pictured below) but the OPK tests (green tests pictured below) have a faint line. How is that possible? I thought the pregnancy tests would detect the hormone better than the OPK tests. Has anyone had a similar experience?

It's been a while for me, (12 years!) but I found the ones I bought from ebay (like your green ones) were just as good as shop bought ones. But that's a definite line there - so congrats!! (Hopefully!)

@helloimlaura opk strips will pretty much always show a faint second line because there is always a small amount of LH in our bodies. That's why OPKs are only "positive" when the test line is as dark as the control.

I'm sorry but I couldn't see a second line on your FRER either.

I think the best thing is to wait 2 days and then test again with another FRER, first urine of the day.

Yes unfortunately OPK's do show a faint second line throughout the cycle normally so won't determine whether you're pregnant or not. You're still early though at 10dpo so leave it a couple of days and take another test and see. I'm in the same position, have had a vvv faint line at 12dpo so am waiting a couple of days to see if I can get a definite answer. I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞

Yes I've had really sore boobs for several days and have had several bouts of cramping! We've had many many cycles of trying now and have stopped testing each cycle as it's too much of a disappointment, but something has just felt a little different this time. I've ran out of tests and waiting for some more to be delivered so will hopefully find out for sure in the next day or two. It's being in the limbo that I hate, I'd rather know for sure that I'm not and then I can mentally move on to the next cycle!

I did a test this morning and it's still a very very faint line, you really have to squint to see it so I'm thinking it's just a evap line as it should be darker at 13dpo :( I'm not going to do another test now unless I don't come on in a few days. I'm driving myself crazy with it!

I did a test this afternoon and BFN didn't use fmu but I think by now it would show up any time of day surely. Still getting 'symptoms' but I'm also feeling rough, so might just be getting ill. Sorry to hear of yours too. I know what you mean, I'm going to do the same now, it's too much of a rollercoaster otherwise :(

@tineys oh i'm really sorry :( I actually caved and did a digital test morning and also a BFN so I feel your disappointment 🥺 it's so disheartening isn't it, feeling very down today! But fingers crossed for us both next time x

Unfortunately I think that is an evap line :( have you done anymore tests?

To me it looks like positive . I am 17DPO and this is my faint line although clear blue digital shown 2-3 weeks yesterday

I'm still waiting for my AF to turn up... getting really worried! Still negative on the one step tests so I'm just wondering what is going on. All my 'period' symptoms have disappeared so I'm worried about why I've just skipped a period.
