Does anyone know which cheap babygros and vests can be tumble dried? We're about to get one and I know Primark and Tescos shrink if you do them.

Thanks

my primark and tesco ones haven't shrunk.

I'm sure I used Mothercare ones and in time they may have shrunk a bit but I think they did very clearly stipulate that they can be tumble dried so they definitely maintained their size for a while.
Could I also mention, without sounding a spoilt bitch!, that these things tend to be about the cheapest bits of clothing you can buy so if they do shrink in time either a) your lo would have been up to the next stage anyway or b) you could buy another pack? This is only my way of thinking because I'm due my third and the thought of individually hanging up lots of vest and babygroes on the clotheshorse with the mountain of other washing and drying I do would send me insane !!

With my ds he wore tesco sleepsuits and vests and we didn't have any problems with shrinkage. He was in sleepsuits all day every day until he was about 6months old. Would highly recommend them.

Primark, Tesco, Adams, Asda, Sainsbury, Mothercare - none shrank significantly

but if you are still worried try ebay for pre-tumbled hence preshrunk ones

My tesco ones didn't shrink, they also come up a bit bigger size wise anyway.

Just wanted to add if you live near a M&Co (Mackays) i would stay well clear! where i live that is the only decent clothes store nearby and EVERYTHING shrinks and they are recommended to be tumbledried!!! all my kids baby and now older clothes shrink and not just a little...lots of mums i know have commented the same..also i found adams childrenswear shrinks too..the best babywear i had that lasted great was Next i passed all those clothes on in near perfect condition!..

Also never had a problem with tescos babygro's shrinking if anything the seem to get bigger lol.....Asda's was ok too.

Just a thought sometime to avoid shrinking stuff i part tumble dry then hang on clothes horse or vice versa seems to work ok and they dont end up stiff like cardboard !

No I've never heard of M&C. I usually get Primark as it's closest. Thanks for all the advice
