Hi am pregnant am 22 weeks , I have felt my baby move for around 3 weeks and it’s be strong and really often at night , but 3 nights ago I felt her once at night and that was it for the full night with is really unusual didn’t matter what I done she never kicked again, then next day I felt her but since that night it’s been not as strong movement and not as much , I have felt her move but it just not been the same , I had a cough that came 2 days before these movements started getting lighter but I don’t know if it’s connected

Hi! I would recommend calling or messaging your midwife if you’re worried.

just to reassure you, I’m 26+5 weeks and I’ve just come back from the hospital because I was so worried I hadn’t felt anything this afternoon or evening and the baby was fine. All wriggling away, I just couldn’t feel all of them!
the doctor said they still have lots of room at this point so we might not feel every movement and told me really not to worry too much until about 29/30 weeks.
I have an anterior placenta as well. Idk if that makes it any different.

but like I say, if you’re worried maybe contact the hospital or your midwife for advice xx

At this stage they are still so small and if they turn then can then be kicking inwards, which you won't really feel. No harm in contacting your midwife though for reassurance, I did last time at around 24 weeks for the same reason. This time like you I'm 22 weeks, and notice that some days movements seem more muffled than others
