16 weeks and I know it's early

But I'm pretty certain a couple of days ago I felt baby move. Just a couple of little flicks but I think it was baby. This is my second.
I know it's early but I haven't felt her since. I thought maybe I'd feel her more often once I'd felt those first flutters. I do have bad anxiety and it seems my brain has found something else to worry about !
I saw midwife yesterday and heard heartbeat. But later on in the day I orgasmed (sorry) and now I've somehow connected the two! It can't hurt the baby can it ?? Sorry it's a silly thing to wonder I know but I need some practical answers not judgey one please
Thanks

No that won’t have hurt your baby. It’s most likely that baby has just moved, they are tiny and there is loads of space for them and cushioning to muffle what you might feel. I wouldn’t expect to feel regular drink ate movements for quite a while yet.

I got flutters at 16 weeks with my first. You may not get anymore for a bit, they've got a fair bit of room still.

DockOTheBay · 26/04/2022 13:16

They have almost certainly just moved into a different position as they're so small at 16 weeks.

Thank you. Honestly I just feel so worried about everything I do, I know rationally it can't hurt but once your anxious mind is in overdrive it's almost impossible to be rational. I'm always looking for something to worry about 🙁
It was so lovely feeling those movements and just can't wait to feel more and naturally I get nervous I haven't felt her since !

I’m 17 weeks with my 2nd and have been feeling baby on and off since 14 weeks! Sometimes they are strong flutters other times I go 2 days without any. It’s just where the baby moves around :)

@ChloeHel Thank you for sharing.

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I felt flutters from 16 weeks, I thought it was wind to begin with because it felt very similar to the popping you feel when you have wind haha.

I found I didn't feel anything when I was on the go and to be honest even now at 20 weeks unless I am lay down in the evening and concentrating on feeling movements I don't ordinarily feel the baby move.

I wouldn't worry at all, what you are experiencing is very normal and the movements will begin to become more frequent and stronger in the weeks to come :)

Rrrunrunrunrunrun · 26/04/2022 15:34

Too early. I asked my consultant at 18 weeks as I had felt movements/ then nothing. She said not to worry until 24 weeks.

jimmyeatworld · 26/04/2022 15:40

Okay thank you everyone. My anxious brain had somehow linked it to the orgasm.

It'll be a very long pregnancy if you're worrying about orgasming Hmm
