I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and I am freaking out that its going to be bad news. I had a scan at 11+1 and all seemed okay but Im worried I will go tomorrow and find out theres no heartbeat.

I was in a similar position! Had a scan at 9+6 and was so worried! This link helps though

Had my dating scan this morning and baby was wiggling away 🥹

That would be very unusual. Such a slim chance of this happening. Have you experienced missed miscarriage? Is there a reason for this anxiety. I am the same. I nearly go into a panic attack each scan because of a previous bad experience. All scans have been really positive. The hospital offered me a midwife to speak to who specialises in pregnancy loss and still birth. I didn't want her about me today cos I was in such a state but they've persuaded me to speak to her at a later date.

BTW, my missed miscarriage was picked up at 9 weeks, baby had only grew to 6w2d. Its very rare you hear of it happening after 11 weeks. Your miscarriage risk is less than 1%.

Are you sure you want people's bad news stories. Surely that won't help your anxiety. Unfortunately yes they do happen, but the majority of pregnancies will end happily

Yes, my baby was growing nicely, good strong heartbeat, and sadly stopped growing at 11+1. MMC. This is very rare though.

If the heartbeat is detected after 10 weeks the chance of misscarriage goes down to 1%
