Morning all. Had my scan yesterday and was scrupulously washing my hands and trying not to touch anything at the hospital as I'm just getting over a cold. Started to feel REALLY sick in the afternoon and couldn't eat dinner (unheard of!!) Belly is making all sorts of windy noises and I couldn't stop vomiting till 4am. I feel SO sick and am eating Weetabix now so I have something to throw up. Anything I can try other than loads of water? Anyone had the dreaded NOROVIRUS, could this be it and should I be worried?

No you shouldnt not be worried, even if it is norovirus. But I would not eat weetabix. Weetabix makes my tummy rumbly and I suffer the most horrid flatulence. I would snack on rice cakes, and dry biscuits. And, I would drink flat coca cola.

But, you have to have your own towel, and not share the towel with anybody, wash your hands scrupulously, and clean the toilet after each time you have been sick.

Ensure your family is far away from you when you are being sick, as droplets spread the infection. And also ensure they keep good hand hygiene.
