Anyone else with boobs that only hurt sometimes?

I’m 5+1 and my boobs only hurt when I get up from bed or after standing up after sitting down for a while. They don’t hurt if I touch them. Is there anyone else with these symptoms? I’ve had three miscarriages in a row and am terrified this isn’t right!

Hi - don’t worry, my boobs don’t hurt constantly. It comes and goes and is worst when I take my bra off and go to bed at night, or get up in the morning. Some days I barely notice anything, some days they are very tender. I’m 21 weeks and it’s been like that throughout.

@Merryclaire Thank you. This morning they don’t hurt at all and I don’t feel tired either. I don’t think it’s looking good for me. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Hope everything does well!

I know it’s a worrying time, but try not to read too much into it as symptoms do often come and go. Can you book in for an early scan at around 7 weeks?
I had a scare at 11 weeks as had a heavy bleed and couldn’t get a scan for a couple of days. My symptoms seemed to have disappeared at that time too (though I only really had sore boobs, tiredness and mild nausea, so it was all a bit vague anyway). Thankfully the baby was fine.
If you haven’t had cramps and/or bleeding, then there’s a good chance things are still progressing.
Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

My boobs didn’t hurt throughout my entire pregnancy, nor did they grow. They stayed completely soft, painless and normal sized until my milk came in.

My boobs only hurt badly in the mornings when I woke up and would just feel achy during the day. This all disappeared around 7/8 weeks completely and only in the last few weeks its only been my nipples that are sore. I am currently 17w 6 days. I think it's really down to hormones, pregnancy symptoms are strange !!

Mine come and go all the time which is a bit scary but read it’s completely normal

Thanks for replying everyone! I actually have a scan booked in at the recurrent miscarriage clinic in two weeks time but I’ve asked for it to be moved forward if possible. After several miscarriages you know what signs to watch out for and the fact that all symptoms have disappeared is a big red flag for me. I’m glad everything is going well for everyone else though!

After previous losses I'm also on edge, but to make you feel a bit better, I had raging symptoms during week 4, my boobs weren't sore, they were really painful! I also had nausea and tiredness. By the end of week 4 they'd all gone completely, I was convinced it was over by a couple of days ago (I'm 5w6d now) they came back with a vengeance. It's easy to assume the worst, especially when there's a history of loss, but try and distract yourself and stay positive :) hope it goes well for you x
