Cramps and spotting 6w2d

I started spotting dark red/brown on Thursday, It stopped by the evening but I had a scan Friday morning and everything was fine, they said I was around 6 weeks.
Last night I started spotting very light pink and it has continued today but now with cramps, nothing bad, just like mild period pains.
I keep getting an achy pain where my right ovary would be though and it radiates down my leg. I don't see the point in phoning up as they already scanned me Friday
Has this happened to anyone? Is it just one of those things?

@he1620 sorry to hear you are going through this. bleeding can be really scary, espically in the first few weeks!

Both my pregnancies' I experienced bleeding, this time around i had bleeding a number of times in the first 12/13 weeks , and sometimes it was a lot and I was convinced something bad was happening. I has lots of scans and ended up paying for scans many times and all was fine :)

I am now 33 weeks pregnant and everything is fine :)

Wishing you all the best! try not to worry, i know it's easier said than done.

Hi @he1620 when they scanned you they could see that it was in the uterus, and not ectopic, right?
If so, and it's definitely not in a fallopian tube, I don't think there's much you can do right now apart from wait. I know how unnerving bleeding and spotting is!

@Moonlight20 thank you! It's strange because this is my third pregnancy and I've never had bleeding out of nowhere before. I'm happy everything turned out great for you!

@Regenbogen22 yeah they said baby was in the right place, they looked at both ovaries too but didn't mention seeing anything else. It's the waiting that's the worst!

Not to scare you op but with everything being ok Friday doesn't mean it will be ok now.
I would EPU.
Of course everything could be fine and it's just one of those things, I had spotting that early too, but I wouldn't hesitate getting checked.

he1620 · 25/04/2022 12:58

@Lem0nDrizzle thank you, the spotting seems to have gotten even lighter but the cramps are still there, if it carries on or gets worse then I'll definitely phone EPU ☺️
