I'm 16 weeks tomorrow. I keep having tiny spots of blood when I wipe. Not everyday but it's happened twice this week, and when I say tiny I mean so so small!
At 8+3 I had some substantial spotting which was put down to old implantation blood and it was seen on a scan. Scan at 12+6 showed it had gone. The very next day I had a small spot of blood, later on in the day I had a small amount of brown discharge. Now to this week and these tiny spots of blood. I had a private scan on Thursday which showed a happy baby. It's just really getting to me, my anxiety and ocd is so bad this pregnancy and stuff like this doesn't help it.
Has anyone had anything similiar ?
I've had no sex due to fear of spotting so I can't blame it on that.
The spot this morning happened after a bowel movement but the others didn't.
Thanks for reading

I had spotting on and off every couple of weeks until 24 weeks (I'm now 31). Sometimes it would go on for a few days, other times just one day. Multiple scans etc and baby was always fine. They never found a cause, no cervical ectroption or anything like that - apparently some women just have this and it's really quite common x
I would get checked regularly if I were you but for your mental health and no other reason, the worry is real xx

I had spotting throughout my pregnancy due to a cervical ectropion - I'd had one previously when taking the pill and I think the pregnancy hormones affected it again. I also had a much heavier episode of bleeding at 13 weeks that might have been related but might have been something else - never got to the bottom of it. DS was always fine at scans, though, but midwives told me to let them know after every episose of bleeding later in my pregnancy. He was born 5 weeks early, but I think that was due to stress after a traumatic event rather than anything to do with the bleeding.

Thank you for sharing. I have an appointment with the midwife tomorrow so I will mention it, I just feel like they always say the same thing though. It's be nice to know why!
I did have a busy day walking round yesterday all day and my legs were killing last night. Im quite crampy today like mild period pains and had these yesterday but they went off when I sat down.
I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move earlier though!!
