I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. Since about 6 weeks been feeling dreadful. Just unwel really. Even thinking that I'm ill and pregnancy is just making it. I know this sounds silly. My first pregnancy I had no symptoms and loved it. This time I just feel poorly. Sleeping awfully so I'm very tired. No 'get up and go'. Lots of smells turn my stomach. I eat and get soooooo bloated I look 6 months pregnant. Constipated(sorry tmi)feel nauseous sometimes, not actually been sick though although brushing my tongue is sensitive like I may throw up. I dont fancy much food and when I do eat alot of foods dont taste right or I just dont enjoy them.
Anyone else struggling feeling just down right awful in their first trimester??

I could of written this myself, I’m 11+2 and feel exactly the same, exhausted all the time feeling CONSTANTLY sick, hardly eating due to feeling so unwell with no get up and go! I have noticed keeping busy helps but I have no motivation too so unless I am in work I feel dreadful. You’re definitely not alone x

I'm 13 weeks and have felt terrible for 7 weeks now. I was holding on to the second trimester bounce back but it hasn't happened yet. Im miserable and have to go to bed at 8 every night just to get a little respite from the constant heartburn and nausea. I want to be going out to enjoy our last 6 months as a 2 but I can't even think about it, my work has suffered too because I can't concentrate so the promotion I want to be working towards will have to go on the back burner too, it all sucks!

Sorry your feeling dreadful too but reassuring I'm not alone if you know what I mean. I'm the same I'm abit better at work as you have to try harder and put on a front so its helps distract you doesnt it. Thank you :)

@justanotherlaura Thanks for posting. Sorry you feel awful too and its affecting your work. I had a day and a half recently where I didnt feel too bad but its back again now. I've had a cold for about 3 weeks too. Just feel rough. I'm happy as it's all signs of high levels of hormones but man I feel dreadful!
A few weeks into our second trimesters and hopefully we'll all feel perkier :) andbeing your first you can then get out and enjoy just 'you two' :)

Sorry you're feeling so unwell. I was absolutely fine first pregnancy, absolutely dreadful second time around. Hopefully it will mean a good birth. My first pregnancy was great but birth wasn't. It was awful.
My second pregnancy was dreadful but birth was great - natural, water birth with no pain relief, done in 5hrs and home after 3 hrs.
Look after yourself

@timestheyarechanging .. thanks for your post, I hope I'm the same then as like you my first pregnancy was great but birth not bad but not great and we were in for 4/5 days afterwards. Let's hope this means we'll have a straight forward, quick birth and then home same as you :) appreciate your message.

I feel you... I'm 12+6 and exhausted!

I used to be (fairly) active but not a chance now. Between sickness and fatigue I feel even worse. Sickness only seems to be eased by carbs... pre-preg. I was on a low carb diet so now I feel fat, bloated, nauseous, guilty and constantly tired!

I buy veggies for lunch/dinner and just heave at the thought when it comes to it and default to pasta/bread/chips 😩

I keep telling myself it's temporary, I'll get into the next trimester and be able to get my diet back on track and do some exercise!

@SareBear87
Aw bless you I feel for you. I used to be active too but at the mo I have to literally drag myself up to do anything. It's so tough! Your nearly into the 2nd trimester so hope you start feeling better soon hun :) thanks for messaging.
