12 week scan anxiety

Anyone else have/had anxiety before 12 week scan. I just cant seem to concetrate on anything else. I had a scan at 11+1 and all seemed fine. I have my nhs scan at 12+5 and worried about a missed miscarriage.

Once you see heartbeat miscarriage rate goes down significantly. If there was no concerns at your private scan then my fingers are crossed for you. Is this your first pregnancy? Be sure to ask questions if you're unsure etc.

I was incredibly anxious before my 12 week scan. My midwife asked if I wanted to be referred for my anxiety and I said no thanks as literally the only thing that would help was seeing a baby with a heartbeat! It is a good sign that everything looked fine at your recent scan so try and stay as positive as you can, I know it's hard.

Know am exactly how you feel I have been nervous before all of my scans up to 20 weeks it’s a natural feeling. I don’t feel nervous now for my growth scans because I can feel him wiggling away. If you had a good scan at 11+1 the chances of all being the same are extraordinarily high. It’s easier said then done but think positive once you see a heartbeat chances of miscarriage drop dramatically.
