Piles while pregnant?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone on here has ever had piles whilst pregnant? I think I might have them as I looked at symptoms and it says they can come in pregnancy but I've never had them before. Was wondering if the cream you can buy over the counter is safe to use or would I have to go through the doctors? Thanks

You can use the cream. Get a step for the toilet and don't strain.

Yep, step/stool/squatty potty for the toilet. Fibre rich diet and Movicol/macrogol to soften stools and make it easier to go

Did any of you have a feeling of pressure there as well?

Anusol and other creams help clear it! It can
be really painful, just take your time and if you need to take paracetamol then do it! Cold/
hot compress will also work.
it was the last week of pregnancy that I found very painful with it but completely cleared up once baby was born.

Thanks for the replies! I've taken some lactulose to see what happens
