Hi I’m just looking for some advice I began using the depo again just after the birth of my daughter (jan 2020) and my last depo injection was (May 2021) my periods never returned for months and in February this year I had my bloods took to rule out any underlying conditions to which they were fine then surprisingly enough whilst having a scan on my pelvis the sonographer suggested I was ovulating due to my follicle being enlarged. 2 days later I received the static face on the clear blue indicating i was at peak fertility. However 6 days after this I began to spot which I originally believed may have been implantation. This lasted around 4-5 days and was dark brown in colour and a lot heavier than I expected so I assumed it may have been some sort of period. However 2 weeks later I had what I can only describe is a normal period bleed which again lasted 4-5 days and I began testing using ovulation sticks after the bleeding finished. On day 22 cycle I got the static face again indicating peak fertility then on 04/04 I had a heavy period which seemed the most normal yet then on day 12 I again have tested positive on ovulation stick but began to have dark brown spotting again roughly 4 days after ‘ovulation’
sorry for the long winded post and I hope this makes sense but is this normal or do I need to contact my GP?
