Early scan HELP

Hi there i need a bit of advice! My local EPU offered me an early 6 wk scan after my previous miscarriage im now really regretting it. From my calculations i should be 7wks 4 days but im not convinced i am. My first scan the CRL was 1.7mm and was told this is too small for 6wks come back next week. I went back today and its 3mm so they said sorry for your loss here are your options ... im very unsure i said i want to atleast wait 1 more week to see if it grows or not before getting an operation or pill! Has anybody experienced something similar? Im convinced im actually 5/6 wks which would seem correct? Also it has grown just not as fast as they hope for 7 wks? HELP! X

Was there anything in the sac? Like a yolksac or small feral pole? I’d probably give it a week and rescan incase you’ve late ovulated before taking any pill.

Yes at the first scan all good yolk sac and embryo no heartbeat, again today its got bigger a week later but no heartbeat she basically said its not viable but im hoping i go back in a week and its gone much bigger either that or ill naturally misscarry. Its so bizarre as it was 1.7mm now its 3mm and they still wanted me to take the pill etc? I have to wait a week for a scan unless i go private earlier? Unsure what to do?

I thought in most cases they have to wait 2 weeks anyway before a decision is made & then there's 2 criteria based on an empty sac of over a certain amount or no feral pole/heartbeat so waiting a week (so there's 14 days in between) would be suggested in my EPU. This is from when I had a 6 week scan in may that then didn't progress

I think if the embryo is there and it’s grown in the week they are really hasty to recommend the pill, do what’s right for you and fingers crossed the little one develops by the next scan

As hard as it is to wait, I wouldn't book a private scan earlier. Leave it for the week as advised - any earlier and you might not see enough growth even though it may all be okay.

Thanks guys yes i think it was hasty too as yes my dates could be wrong! If im not 6/7mm next week then fair enough something is wrong so hoping for the best as ive had no bleeding and still have pregnancy symptoms!
