Experiences on sertraline while pregnant

I’m currently 21 weeks pregnant and have been prescribed 50mg of sertraline. I have suffered with anxiety for a few years but throughout my pregnancy this has become so extreme and caused depression. I have read up on the side effects and it has scared me and is putting me off. Has anyone had any experience on this medication and especially while pregnant.

Yes. Currently debating if DD should have an assessment for autism.

Honestly, setraline was awful for me, I was prescribed it in pregnancy didn't manage it took it for a week or so, made me insomic, tearful and and then completely out of myself, really high until I crashed and slept for hours. I have previously had a psychotic episode though Then my anxiety and depression was worse off it. Later I took qutiapine in my pregnancy which worked well for me, but unlike setraline is a sedative so we had some issues with a newborn, but it all worked out ok. Setraline could be great for you, but personally I'd discuss starting on 25mg then increasing after you see how it goes.
