Hello! I really hope the mums net group can reassure more than anything. I have a 2yo and have had a miscarriage in the last 10 months...I am now pregnant again and have started spotting....then becoming more red BUT not like a period. More on going to the loo than anything. It's not the same as my previous miscarriage (lots of fluids in a short time). Has anyone had this and carried on with a successful pregnancy?
Thnx xxx

Hi, spotting is quite common - I had a heavy bleed in the first trimester and some spotting after that. Bleeding in general seems to happen to a lot of people and, especially where there is no pain, is often (though sadly not always) harmless.
As it feels different to your previous miscarriage, try to have faith everything is ok and get a scan as soon as you can (but may not get confirmation for a couple more weeks when heartbeat can be detected).
Fingers crossed for you - let us know how you get on.

Thank you so much for responding. I know it won't affect the outcome but it does help reassure me it this happen to others and the pregnancy may continue and to keep a positive mindset while the next few weeks pan out. X
