Got a faint positive on a pregnancy test this morning. I've been doing gym classes (hiit, zumba, pilates, step etc) for a while but have had a few weeks off due to various issues. My question is I'm meant to be going back tomorrow but am I supposed to tell my gym instructor? If so, when? I tested before my period was due so VERY newly pregnant

You need to ask your doctor if you're worried, not internet randomers.

I've had 4 pregnancies and carried on with exercise throughout 3 of them. My final pregnancy was high risk and doc told me not to exert myself too much so I only walked and swam.

Every pregnancy is different so please don't take anyone else's word for what you should do

You've got no obligation to tell anyone at this stage. Go with what feels comfortable and right for you. Just know that when things are developing so early you should not over heat. If you are doing one on one training you may want to share your news for that reason. I think the rule of thumb is "can I comfortably talk while working out" for the first trimester. If your breathing is laboured and you can't hold a conversation, you're probably going a bit hard and might want to tone it back. The overheating is an issue due to neural tube delopment I think.
