Possible chemical pregnancy?

I tested + last week. The lines were getting darker and then started getting lighter. Today the home test (first response) was pretty much negative. Midwife made me feel crazy when I talked to her on the phone last night and was like “why have you been testing everyday etc”. I had a miscarriage in October at 8 weeks so I’m really nervous. She told me that “I’m fine and to just relax”. Anyways I convinced her to order a blood hcg and it was 5.9 today. With my negative urine test today and low blood hcg, I’m assuming I’m having a chemical pregnancy but looking for any hopeful stories. I’m so devastated.

@freckles503 im so sorry hun i had exactly the same 6 months ago, its an absolute rollercoaster. I didnt have the initiative to do tests so youve done the right thing. I actually started bleeding at 5 wks got to the EPU and they made me do a test which was negative and made me feel like id made it up ... if you are negative i think its also happened to you hun im so sorry. Have you started your period yet? How late are you? If it helps i got pregnant again a few months later but this time its not growing so could be another loss. The positive is though you can get pregnant x

@Favourodds @gemmabrittonuk I would have been 4 weeks 3 days today. I started bleeding today. I’m so devastated. I am hoping to get testing now that I’ve had two in a row. I feel like such a failure.

@freckles503 aw im so sorry hun its nothing you could have done, i had exactly the same thing. If i lose this second one now im going private for tests myself, they could maybe find something that can help, we can obviously conceive but just cant keep it in so might need help with that. Dont worry as i said you can get pregnant and thats huge, you will get there i promise! I know so many people who had 2 miscarriages and gone on to have a healthy baby next time round xx
