Hi

So I have thought I had GD the last 15 weeks but they didn’t test me as didn’t hit testing criteria! I drink gallons, wee loads (8 times a night) skin tags under arms etc baby 97 percentile on fundal measurements

Today at my appt there was a lot of glucose in my urine and midwife has referred me to speak to the consultant later this week. She has indicated good chance I may be induced early ..

Has anyone been in similar situation and what happened? Slightly worried about risks to baby and if I have done her any harm with my sugar intake also x

Yes I had a test at 28 weeks, was negative. By 32 weeks I was positive. Was confirmed by finger testing and sugar readings.

It was fine. I was able to control it by diet so didn't need medicine. My son was induced at 38 weeks (I had polyhydramnios) and arrived af 6lb 15!
