Hi - I found out I was around 4 weeks pregnant at the weekend. My first time after trying for over a year. I had some brown spotting early in the week and today it has gotten red. Only when I use the toilet. Im not in any pain just a niggle. Just wondered if anyone can share their experience as I haven’t told anyone yet so I don’t want to worry them

Hi, I think it's impossible to say for certain, brown and red spotting could be nothing or it could be something. I think just keep an eye on it, you're still so early on, if it gets heavier then it was probably a chemical pregnancy....but it might just stop and everything will be fine!
(Obviously with any intense one sided pain you should seek help)

If it goes beyond spotting to requiring a pad, contact your Epu (early pregnancy unit). They may check your HCG anddo a scan (transvaginal if still very early).

Hi
i found out I was pregnant with an early detection 2 days before due period. That day I started bleeding. Very light for two days. (My period is only usually 2 days) I tested with a clear blue week test the day my period was due after the two days bleeding and would have been the morning I was due on. This test was negative. So I’ve assumed it was a chemical pregnancy. However another two days later I’ve had brown spotting. I tried to call my dr but they had no space for a phone call. Any advice?
