Out of nowhere. Got lightheaded/dizzy and it kept getting worse and worse to the point I had spots in my eyes, ears went hot, really woozy, felt sick and had to put myself on the floor before I fell, went on for around ten mins I just couldn't move, it was horrible. Still woozy now and occasionally breathless (that started last night)

How many weeks are you?
Have you called your midwife/doctor?

anyoneelsehadthis · 19/04/2022 13:46

15 weeks. Yeah someone is coming to assess me apparently

Ah that's good that someone will check things out. Could be low blood pressure but obviously Mumsnet isn't a medical forum, best leave the medical stuff to the right people!

Yeah definitely. I just wondered if it's normal I know dizziness can be but it's the fact it's now constant

I'm also 15 weeks and while I haven't had any dizzy spells as bad as you describe, they've come out of nowhere in the past week or so and are really affecting my day to day life. I'm really glad you're getting help. I can't offer much expect solidarity and good wishes - I hope you feel loads better soon!

anyoneelsehadthis · 19/04/2022 14:04

@imfm maybe it's the norm then at this stage ? Haven't had any since about 8 weeks and even then it was only the one which passed really quickly !

Good that you’re getting checked out.
I had a lot of light-headed spells/vision going when I was pregnant, especially at the beginning - seemed like it was every time I stood up.
