7 + 1 and the tiredness is unreal!

I sleep all night then I'm having to sleep 4-5hrs in the daytime too. Luckily I can do this without worrying about work, etc. I'm 40 years old.

I have 0% energy for anything. I can just about manage one activity per day - a dog walk or a swim or something - but then I have to nap afterwards and that's me wiped out for the day.

It's so miserable. I'm having to say no to social events, even just a coffee or something with a friend, because I just don't have it in me.

This will be my third child but my other two are a lot older, I was 25 the last time I was pg.

Is anyone else feeling this unreal level of exhaustion??

I think it's totally normal, I'm 34 weeks now but I remember those early days very, very well! I'd be fast asleep from 6pm most evenings. I had absolutely no energy at all, it did pass at about 10 weeks I think.

I had my second at age 38 last year and felt like this throughout my whole pregnancy. I was wfh and couldn't even manage that very well. Yet with my first at aged 34 I was commuting a fair distance to work everyday.

I’m 7+4 and slept until 12:30 lunchtime on and off today! I just could not keep my eyes open!! Luckily it’s a day off, but no idea how I’m going to cope with work!
The good news is, the extreme nausea I had all weekend has lifted today and I feel more human!

I remember being so tired in the 1st trimester, by 12 weeks though it had passed and I felt much more energised.

If it continues maybe get your iron levels checked with your Midwife x
