Hcg only risen by 64% and previous ectopic

Hi all
Based on my LMP i should be 6 weeks pregnant today. I had a previous ectopic which ruptured at a similar gestation so im very anxious.
I have been spotting brown discharge when wiping for exactly a week now and on friday had some fresh blood when wiping so went to a&e where the gynae team scanned me (5 weeks 4 days) and saw nothing but a 2mm area in my womb which meant i currently have a PUL.
Thye took bloods and i went back 48 hours later when they called me yesterday evening they said my bloods rose by 64% but they would expect a 66% increase so cannot rule out ectopic. My levels went from 600 and something to 1000 and something and so will rescan me on Wednesday morning.
Should i lose hope? This look like another ectopic has anyone got any positive stories. I suffer with severe anxiety and almost died with my last ectopic.

@Chhmanar I bled with my sons pregnancy too... Genuinely wouldn't be concerned about these cramps but because placement hasnt been confirmed I can't just ignore them 😢 just a waiting game I'll be in here until they get the results

Im currently abroad still and been in bed two days as was throwing up so badly finally stopped but struggling to eat much as smells are making me feel
sick.

boobs have stopped hurting completely :( last couple days but then today a little bit sensitive again so fingers crossed. Not had any bleeding but just white discharge in last couple days also. Are you still in hospital @Katieellen95x 🥺 hope your okay xx

@Hannah2207 I'm on an emotional roller-coaster but I will be OK. I've decided this is the end of my ttc journey and asked to be placed on a list with Gynaecology to have my remaining tube tied. I cannot go through this again

oh no what’s happened hun? 😩🥺 is that your choice or there’s. I’m guessing everything wasn’t okay what did they say x

@Hannah2207 sorry about you being so poorly but it's a good sign that things are progressing. Fingers crossed for you on Tuesday.

I have another scan Monday morning, I also had really sore breast but today nothing it's as if all the symptoms are slowly going away, I don't know why but I am almost sure it's another ectopic I've been there twice before I feel exactly the same, it's scary but I'm not losing hope although I am prepared for the news if it is bad x

@chhm yes I am not sure if it’s pregnancy related or a stomach bug hoping pregnancy of course. Thank you for the support I hope your scan goes well on Monday also let me know :)
im really worried we are all in the same boat I’ve had an ectopic. Missed miscarriage and 2 other MC previously. But do have one little boy who’s my world. Praying I can finally give him a sibling. Just hate what us women have to go through and men just don’t understand at all.

Hi both they said its a long process I can wait a week and have another scan but ultimately its going to show the same thing as there's been no change over 2 weeks... Or I can let it expell naturally but could take a number of weeks which to me is just going to be mental torture so they're going to do surgery on monday i need some closure I think xx

@Hannah2207 @Katieellen95x ectopic number 3. And I totally understand now the feeling and why you have decided to go down the surgical route.

@Katieellen95x oh no :( yes it would be awful waiting for that to happen. I had to do the same last time I had a missed miscarriage at 14 weeks went straight for surgery couldn’t sit there and wait. I do hope your okay. With you and @Chhmanar both not good news I don’t hold much hope myself for tomorrow morning when I have my scan. If yoI need anything we are here x

@Katieellen95x yeh I'm good as can be I guess there's not much a I can do. I have to go back there tomorrow with a decision, I am definitely leaning towards surgery because as you said I don't have the mental capacity to go through this again, but I'm worried 5 6 years down the line I'll regret it. I'm so confused 😔

@Chhmanar do they have to do surgery to remove your tube? Or they giving you the methrexate injection? :( do you need to make a decision about tying your tube? Whatever you decide has to be the best for you It must be so difficult. 🙏 it all works out okay for you and @Katieellen95x and fingers crossed there will be some light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully I will have positive news tomorrow I can share xx

@Hannah2207 so they've actually given me the option to either do the methotrexate injection witch could potentially result in surgery if it doesn't work or just go straight for the surgery and remove the tube. It's my only tube left so if I remove it my only option to conceive would be IVF. I'm going to sleep on it and see I have an appointment 9 in the morning to rescan and give them my decision.

@Chhmanar bless you. Yes I had the injection twice last time and it thankfully worked didn’t need to remove my tube. Have a sleep as you said on it and get some rest and you do what’s best for you. X

@Chhmanar so so sorry. I have had a few days to think about it and I'm going to hold off them tying the tube today before surgery they've agreed to send me to fertility specialist for some help to conceive and maintain the pregnancy.. I've just got home after successful surgery a bit sore and groggy I hope u are OK xxx

@Katieellen95x @Chhmanar hi ladies hope your both okay. Right here’s an update with me after being at the hospital since 9am this morning.
good news :) after not seeing anything a week and half ago they have now seen a GS yolk sac and baby with HB all in the right place which they are shocked as have the copper IUD in place. They said they have never come across one that did not turn our ectopic as it’s so rare. (So that was the best news and so happy)

however, they then said we need to discuss taking the coil out and said pros and cons saying that it ideal they take it out asap to avoid possible issues later on. But the coil is literally right next to the gestation sac which is not good. So they said taking it out could risk a miscarried 20-25% chance. I said okay let’s go ahead rather do it now and would be monitored for next two weeks. They went to take it out but then couldn’t find the threads with two people looking. so after saying how important and crucial it is to take it out. Speaking to 3 consultants they have now decided that it’s too risky to open cervix to go into my womb blind to take it out which would 100% cause a MC and maybe damage my uterus and cause infection. So they have now decided to leave it in place. Go back in two weeks to rescan and check all okay and then be under specialist reviews and care as there is a high chance can result in preterm labour or a miscarriage in 2nd/3rd trimester.

right now just happy everything is okay will take it as it comes. X

But what a nightmare with the coil at least it means extra monitoring and possibly extra little peaks at baby too xx
