pregnancy bleeding

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experienced period like bleeding and period like cramping at 6/7 weeks and it has not been a miscarriage. I’m heading to a n e tomorrow and preparing for the worst. But just wondered if there was a possibility. 🙁

Hi - I’m sorry to hear that you have experienced this. Obviously these are possible signs of miscarriage but I’ve heard so many stories of people going through this and everything being ok. So there is always hope.
I had a heavy bleed at 11 weeks - a real gush, but no pain. Thankfully scan confirmed LO was fine and they couldn’t explain why it happened.
Just bear in mind that you may not be able to get a scan on the same day (we had to wait 48 hours) and at 6/7 weeks there may not be a heartbeat, so it’s possible they won’t be able to confirm either way at this stage.
For now at least, try to have faith that LO is ok.

Thankyou for your reply merry Claire. Yes I think it will be a blood test then another in a few days hopefully a scan but nothing is goi g to be conclusive right away. I will let you know when I get an answer🙏

Yes I did and my ds is nearly 21 now so definitely to always bad news. I bled on and off all through my pregnancy right up until delivery at 32 weeks.

I'm going through something similar right now. How are you getting on OP?
I thought I was 9+1 (from LMP) but early scan said sac only measuring 6+1 weeks (which would be when I ovulated/conceived?) Started out with spotting and now had a light 'period' for 2 days. No pain or cramping. Don't know what to think 😔
