I'm only 10 weeks pregnant with my 3rd pregnancy but I'm sure that I can feel the baby moving. I can feel little pulsating movements just like a could with my DD but that wasn't until about 15 weeks. Am I imagining it or is it something else moving about i.e ligaments etc?

I felt my baby start moving around 16 weeks and as it is my first I had no idea whether this was actually it! I expect you are more aware of what is going on if this is your 3rd baby and now know what the signs of a baby moving are. I have a question you may be able to answer, my baby is starting to move loads in the night - does this have any bearing on what they will be like when born, i.e. awake all night?

felt second around 12 weeks. Unmistakable.

Sheen - I don't think it has any bearing. I MC'd my first baby but my DD used to wake up and kick the living daylights out of my at night but I can honestly say that I was blessed with a baby that slept at night (apart from the usual feeds that is). Someone told me that the baby tends to wake up when you are still as your movements during the day tend to 'rock' it to sleep. Not sure how true that is though. I was wondering if its just a case of 'noticing' the baby more once you are still. I'm sitting at my desk and can feel the movements but once i start to move they stop.

Sweetiesandcakes - sorry to hear about your first baby. Thank you for your thoughts. I am also sat at my desk and can feel the movements and like you they stop when I get up and move around.

Hi i am either 10 or 12 weeks, early scan sed was 2 weeks behind which would make me 10 weeks but got told this at an early scan with my ds now 10 months and he caught up by my 12 week scan so keeping my options open there, but i too think i can feel my baby move, this period is horrible for me too as i have previously had 2 mc's, one missed, xx
