Faint BFP or no?

I am on CD 40 and unsure when I ovulated - I thought I did on day 14 but am questioning that now. took a first response with first morning urine and got this faint faint line within 10 minutes. I've had these tests before but never had any sort of line before!

Faint BFP or no?

It looks like an indent to me sorry especially as you are likely more than 9DPO

Regenbogen22 · 15/04/2022 15:09

I can only see a super super faint grey line which could be an evap....

I think wait for two days and do another....so on Sunday morning first thing.

AliceAbsolum · 15/04/2022 15:21

Evap as no colour, sorry op.

Luciana1989 · 15/04/2022 15:24

I've just never had an evap line appear within 10 minutes

You say you are on CD 40 - do you know when your period is due?

I can see something faint. Fingers crossed for you.

Luciana1989 · 15/04/2022 16:32

I can't confirm ovulation. My average cycle length is 30 days but during stressful times has gone to 40 not very rarely. My app is usually spot on predicting my period and it said last Wednesday it was due. Last month my cycle was 29 days.

Thank you I am also crossing my fingers!!!! Don't want to get excited if it's not positive though 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

It looks like a line but forgive me I’m sat out my front garden with the sun in my eyes. Was it from this morning? In my experience with those tests. They are excellent!! With my last baby he’s almost 4, I took those on 7dpo and got a faint line fainter than yours it would never show up on camera! Even my partner couldn’t see it. I tested again 4 hours later and it was darker and my partner could see it. Still not dark enough to show up on camera. Next morning was enough to show up on camera. So when Iv used them the line has got darker over hours not days. So if you can hold your pee for a good 4 hours and not drink much you should get a better line if that is a true positive

That gives me hope! This was from this morning and I have one more I plan to use tomorrow morning (if I can wait that long LOL). My husband could hardly see if but he had just woken up and his eyes aren't as good haha. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@Luciana1989 definitely wait until tomorrow, they're great tests but a bit expensive, it would be better to do the last one when there's a better chance of seeing something

Snowflakes1122 · 15/04/2022 17:44

So period sounds like it’s late for you now.

Update us when you test again. As mentioned above, the lines start out super faint. The type you have to hold in a certain light and squint to see it. The camera picked it up, so that’s very promising.

Not had an evap line with one of those tests either, so I don’t think it’s that.

I can hardly hold my pee for an hour on a good day let alone 4 hours so I'll have to wait til tomorrow 😅

I will definitely keep you all updated when I test again! I don't want to get too excited but still holding on to hope! This would be our first ❤️

Definitely looks like a faint positive

Foxglovesandlilacs86 · 15/04/2022 18:22

If that came up within ten minutes then I'd say it's a positive.

Luciana1989 · 16/04/2022 17:39

Tested this morning again with first morning urine with another first response test and it was negative. So it's likely an indent line but still no AF. :( I know I am not out til I am out but got excited when I saw that line yesterday.

Sorry to hear that Sad

Hope this is still your month, like you said, still no AF 🤞

@Luciana1989 I had this in February almost drove me crazy as the first response tests showed something then didn't. I am now 6 weeks 4 days. Not sure whether I was pregnant or not when the lines were faint. It is so annoying Confused

So frustrating for sure! I ended up getting my period on Sunday though 😫 but maybe it's a blessing because I am interviewing for a job that offers full paid maternity leave and that would be a game changer as it's not common here! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 congrats on your BFP!!
