Do you mean how do you know if it's an evap line?

It would have very little colour to it, maybe be very thin, or appear long after the correct reading time.

sarah882 · 15/04/2022 13:45

I've done 3 tests from sainsbury's and the second line is blue but i don't no if evap as people say these are bad for evap lines Confused

Then get some different brand tests tomorrow and see what they say!

sarah882 · 15/04/2022 13:54

Yes I'm going out later to town I will pick some different ones up but thought I would ask here as I'm sure there is a few women that have taken these tests.

Follow the directions on the package and read it within the specified time (set an alarm)

Anotherpassengerwantstogetoff · 15/04/2022 13:58

I didn’t have evap lines with blue clear blue tests.

If you read the test by the time it says, and follow all the instructions so don’t flood the test, then a line will be a positive.

sarah882 · 15/04/2022 13:58

Yeh I did do that, on 2 of them and the line was really really faint, but the 3rd one I for got about so I don't really count that one

Keha · 15/04/2022 14:31

If you've had 3 faint lines, on 3 tests, it's pretty likely you are pregnant. Evap lines are seen after the time you read them and have no real colour, but 3 would be unusual. If you do another test when you wake up tomorrow you may well get a clearer line.

sarah882 · 15/04/2022 14:36

I was trying to upload a picture but it won't let me, these lines have colour and r blue x

Then.......they're probably positive

TheGlitterati · 15/04/2022 14:45

I have used sainsburys ones before and if the line is thin and blue then it’s an evap. If thick and blue then positive.

sarah882 · 15/04/2022 14:48

I had 2 left so thought I would use them both at same time, and in the time frame, one come up with a bright blue thin line as straight away and the other one is very very faint but bigger

Regenbogen22 · 15/04/2022 14:50

Well fingers crossed you get the result you want with different tests tomorrow morning!

TheGlitterati · 15/04/2022 15:00

I had the same with them… I wasn’t pregnant. Confirmed it with a first response x

AliceAbsolum · 15/04/2022 15:22

1st response is your friend

sarah882 · 15/04/2022 15:54

That's what I'm worried about I will try an other brand, went to boots, they didn't have any first response, so went for The only ones there and they was the boots pink dye ones x

Nikki037297 · 15/04/2022 17:26

To be honest it’s rare to a line to appear after the time frame. So you have had 3 faint positives I’d say your pregnant

sarah882 · 15/04/2022 18:35

It's so confusing as I said the line come up with in the time, it's really blue, but the line is finer that the other ain't they meant to be the same size x

OP posts:
TheGlitterati · 15/04/2022 23:05

I think I got my positive in a Superdrug pink test

sarah882 · 17/04/2022 15:10

How strange I done 6 sainburys tests all come up with a second line in the time and it is a thick line it's light but there and brought a first response 6 days sooner and it's negative so do you think I'm out I'm due I'm period in 3days.!

OP posts:
TheGlitterati · 17/04/2022 21:55

If it’s not in a frer 3 days before you’re due on I’d say so. Sorry Op x

caz198917 · 17/04/2022 22:08

The sainsburys ones are awful! Always gave me a line despite not being pregnant in the end 😢

sarah882 · 17/04/2022 22:46

These are them

How do you no evap lines

Frer would definitely show if these were positive. Sainsburys are terrible. They should be banned.
