Thrush/Spot of Blood

Hi all,

Just coming up to 18 weeks and this morning when I went for a wee and wiped, there was a bit of pink on the tissue. Wipes again and put a pad on and morning.

I'm currently on day 6 of a 7 day course of antibiotics for a UTI, and I've got thrush symptoms since 2 days or so which for now I've only treated with the external cream. But have ordered the pessaries and cream combo on Amazon as I know it's fine to take.

I called the maternity emergency line to get advice as I'm also blood group 0 negative so wasn't sure whether I needed an Anti D jab. The lady who picked up listened to my concerns and said a bit of blood when wiping was normal Hmm and no cause for concern, then asked whether I was worried, and I said well yes kind of, and whether I needed Anti D or not. She said well you can come in if you are worried and we will give you Anti D but it sounded like they didn't feel I needed it. I now feel like a nuisance.

What would you do?

I'll add to this we have a private scan at 3.30pm today and we are going away on Tuesday for a week so would probably feel better with reassurance?

Anyone had this experience?

Thank you!

Terrible typing. Was mean to say I wiped again after the first time and there was nothing else so far.

In case anyone ever has a similar situation: I went in to hospital and was seen by someone who checked blood pressure and urine. Said as no active bleeding I didn't need to see the doctor. Midwife also listened to babies HB which took her 5 mins to find, she had to call another midwife and I was getting quite worried. But they found it. Will have to see now and hope nothing else happens.
