Advice please. Labour?

I'm 37+6 weeks and I'm booked in for an ELCS in just under two weeks time due to baby being breech.

Last night and this morning I've had a lot of heavy pressure in my stomach, a bit like period pains but not reminiscent of contractions. They didn't bother me through the night. So far no sign of waters breaking or mucus plug (however I've lost parts of this gradually over the past few weeks). I'm also a little constipated so not sure if I'm just bloated

I don't want to panic unnecessarily but I'm also keen to get into hospital asap if things do happen due to baby being breech. Does this sound like it could be the start of labour?

I would ring your maternity assessment unit for advice, they will probably bring you in and check you over to confirm if you are in labour or not.

You're technically full term at 37 weeks so if you are they will likely bring forward your csection.

Thank you for replying. It seemed to ease off throughout the day so false alarm I think. I'm super on edge at the moment!
