Could eating a bag of jelly babies cause a headache??

We went for a walk earlier and stopped at a shop on the way. I was feeling peckish so got myself a large bag of jelly babies, two vimto lollies and a vimto squash. On the 3 mile walk I demolished these, got home and we made lunch an hour later. I then got a very bad headache and fell asleep. Been asleep 3 hours and woke up it’s still there!! I’m 15 weeks and never really get headaches. But also never really have sweets lol. Could it have been all the sugar off the sweets?

That is a lot of sugar with jelly babies, sugary squash plus sugary lollies so could definitely be a sugar rush headache. If you are active and have a lot of sugar but nothing containing salts, the sugars could have thrown off your electrolyte balance which would also cause a headache, pregnant or not

Yep, things like that give me bad headaches!
