Had this all day today, the pubic bone pain feels like a dull ache occasionally stabbing, and the same with the tailbone pain but it's more sharper and really hurting ! I'm 14 weeks, is this to be expected at this stage ?

This sounds like PGP - apparently not common to be felt that early but I definitely had it from around 16 weeks. The earlier you can get treatment and physio the better - I got a physio referral on the nhs and have regular manual therapy which has made a world of difference for me - from being in so much pain I was in tears by around midday to only having pain in an evening (which can be really bad if I've over-exerted myself). When I went to my midwife she said that 'discomfort was normal' but I then went to a walk in at the hospital and they were really helpful so don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Thank you @mrkb it seems to have eased off this morning but I'm quite stiff around my hip area. Will see how it progresses throughout the day

I had this from very early on in my pregnancy. The pain didn’t really get better but I learned to manage it better and tried to move around more frequently so I wasn’t becoming stiff.
The pain in my hips and legs have now become really bad. A few midwives have just looked sad for me and said it was an unpleasant part of pregnancy!
I spoke to a consultant at a routine check up and he suggested a birthing ball and referring myself for physio to help ease it.
I’m at the end of my pregnancy so only bought the ball and it’s been great! Just sitting/ moving around on it for a short while each day has really freed up my joints!
