Ugh @Bridgey8 so annoying. Defo book a private one. I have a private one next week as have been discharged from my EPU and cannot bear to wait another month for the 12 week scan.

We had some unexpected news so probably going to take a break and will update you when all results are back.

Baby measuring 11+6 with heartbeat which was great. But the NT measurments were very high indicating an abnormality so we have been referred to fetal medicine. Keeping my fingers crossed that all is okay 🤞🤞

Thanks everyone. I'm just going to cry on the phone to triage tomo and demand they see me! I would get a private scan but I don't know if it will tell me what I need for my flight - like I want a doctor to say - you're fine to go! Xx

My scan went well, I'm 11w today, measured 11w4d, baby was wriggling a lot, then went back to sleep and we took some pictures, then had another look and they were wriggling again. However, they found a small area of bleed, she said she is not concerned and it is very, very small and slim. I hope for the best. My 12w scan is next Friday.

@Bridgey8 The private scan place we go to, the ladies that work there for early scans also work at the EPU at our local hospital, so they know what they do and say. Also, for later scans they have doctors to do scans. Obviously, I'm not sure if that's the case everywhere.

Because I'm so early in this pregnancy (5 weeks 5 days) my symptoms keep coming and going. Which means only one thing, knicker investigations any time I go to the toilet. Not that I'm wishing for those horrible days of being in bed and feeling nauseous to the point of crying into my dinner, but at least that was a confirmation that things were going on. I should be using this lull to get all my tasks done, or do some exercise, but instead I'm just worrying that it could be a sign of another miscarriage.

@Tofu35 I’m 7+3 and I’m exactly the same. My symptoms are fairly intermittent some days are bad and some days are just… normal. My MMC was discovered at 8/9 weeks last time but the pregnancy had ended at 6 so I just don’t really have a barometer for how I “should” be feeling and what is normal. So basically if I don’t feel bad I just assume the worst and it’s so exhausting. Sigh.

All fine today I am 12 weeks and 2 days due 25th October nipt test done now just to await the results

@sunnyd67 amazing news, congratulations 💕 Hopefully your body will just reabsorb the blood but in the horrible case that it does come out, at least you can hopefully have a little reassurance that it should just be the small haematoma you saw on the scan xx
