@flowergarden16 do you still feel rough? Or do you think your body adapted? Literally don't want to plan anything at the moment, I'm in bed most of the time! X x

flowergarden16 · 29/04/2022 10:29

I am feeling a bit better but am 10 weeks now. I think it's likely a combo of rising HCG and the cyclogest. Rest up it will get better x

Tulip1112 · 29/04/2022 10:30

@flowergarden16 thank you so much for your quick reply 🥰 I would take this every day of the pregnancy if I got a lovely, healthy baby at the end- it's just the unknown isn't it! Glad you're feeling better x x

flowergarden16 · 29/04/2022 10:34

Exactly how I feel @Tulip1112 !

Lots of people have no symptoms on cyclogest so I suspect it's the baby :-)

barneymcgroo · 29/04/2022 10:38

LOVING seeing all these pictures!

Felt my baby move for the first time this morning. Wonderfully reassuring, as I had my 16w checkup this week. Midwife tried to have a listen (she said they don't usually, I asked her to...) and couldn't find a heartbeat. Could hear placenta, she said, but possible anterior placenta, so couldn't hear baby. Wasn't worried, but feeling it move was WONDERFUL! 😍

Skl2021 · 29/04/2022 11:24

@barneymcgroo how lovely! It's great to feel it for a bit of reasurance. I also have an anterior placenta so not feeling much. Some days feel the odd twinge then nothing for days 🙈 hoping it becomes regular soon 🤞 xx

Willow11981 · 29/04/2022 11:26

@Tulip1112 @flowergarden16 ……. I’ve been taking Cyclogest for 2 and a half weeks now and I don’t really think I’m having any side effects from it so maybe for you guys it is the baby making itself known!!
i do have a weird feeling that’s almost like a hunger but not if that’s makes sense! But I have read that progesterone can increase appetite so maybe it’s that 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ X

barneymcgroo · 29/04/2022 11:35

@Skl2021 Oh I hope so - felt in the tiny portion of the morning that's quiet. Before my cosleeping 2 year old head butts me, as is his customary morning greeting...

Skl2021 · 29/04/2022 11:39

@barneymcgroo yes I seem to notice more when I'm quiet or sat down watching TV. Haha what a lovely wake up greeting 🤣🙊 they are funny at that age! X

arianasky · 29/04/2022 11:59

@Tulip1112 I'm not on any progesterone at all and my sickness started about 6 weeks and I'm 10 weeks now and I've literally just vomited but like you I'll take it all if it means baby is happy and healthy 🙏🏻

Annny27 · 29/04/2022 12:10

@barneymcgroo awwh that's so lovely you felt baby move! I cannot wait to feel them 💗💗

@Tulip1112 I started to feel better after 11 weeks and then started to feel normal around 13 weeks. Still have some nausea but nowhere near as bad as 9/10 weeks which was the only times I actually threw up

Arwen7 · 29/04/2022 13:21

Having so much fun with all these predictions! So good to see all these lovely 12w scans.

@Tulip1112 I am on cyclogest too and I think the only side effect I get from it is horrible constipation (could also be hormones but I think it’s the pessaries) and bloating. I started feeling nausea at about 6w too, worst 8-9w and now almost 11w and starting to feel better for now. So I would think it’s more pregnancy symptoms than the pessaries! Congrats xx

sunnyd67 · 29/04/2022 20:04

@Tulip1112 I'm on cyclogest too, and I have noticed as the time goes on the less side effects you have from it, right at the start I could really feel the bloat and my stomach was going crazy, but it's not too bad now. My nausea has started to settled down, now at 12 weeks, I'm still on cyclogest so I don't think it's the medication, it's probably hormones and the baby.

Tulip1112 · 29/04/2022 20:11

Ah thank you lovelies! How reassuring for me. Just so hopeful this will be 3rd time lucky and we will soon share all our baby pics 🥰🌈 x x x

sunnyd67 · 30/04/2022 08:49

My screening results came through the post, pleased to say - all low possibility.
They have put so many dates on my letter, going by frozen transfer at the date of the scan I was 12w1d, going by period 11w6d, baby measuring 12w4d. They have left my EDD same as IVF clinic - which was going by the date of transfer. Will they change it along the way?

SupportNeed · 30/04/2022 10:29

@sunnyd67, I recently had bloods taken for tests.

New worry now - only slightly, but still 🙈🙈🙈

I’m 38 and feel they may come back higher risk X

calimc83 · 30/04/2022 11:44

Hey ladies, hope you are all well? So lovely to see your scan pics. Still nervously waiting for my first one..honestly not sure I can go through with it 😩🙈....
What are your thoughts on riding a bike whilst pregnant? We were going to get bikes this summer and do some bike rides but is it a bad idea? I've not ridden a bike properly in about 20 years! 😩 xx

flowergarden16 · 30/04/2022 13:22

Had my booking appt today. Midwife couldn't work out why the system said I was 32 weeks pregnant. They never 'ended' my last pregnancy. That was fun :-(

arianasky · 30/04/2022 13:41

@calimc83 I think do what you feel comfortable with, personally I would ride a bike but the same as you it was a good 17/18 years ago I rode a bike properly 😂

@flowergarden16 aww I'm so so sorry! It's awful how they can mess that up 🤬 hope you're ok?

mrshodgy21 · 30/04/2022 14:07

@SupportNeed have faith hun I'm 39 and
My nipt and bloods came back low risk x

SupportNeed · 30/04/2022 14:11

@mrshodgy21 - oh really? That’s brilliant, I just figured based on my age it might do.

Great to hear! X

mrshodgy21 · 30/04/2022 14:15

@SupportNeed I was so worried about it as my last 2 pregnancy was a mmc and they tested them and they had abnormalities one t21 and the other t13 that's why they gave me the nipt as I was high risk but even without the nipt the downs screening one come back low!
Just think there are women a lot older than us that have healthy babies x

siobhanmt247 · 30/04/2022 15:09

I'm an avid peloton rider. Only difference I've noticed is that my lady bits have been a lot more tender on the bike since becoming pregnant 😬

SupportNeed · 30/04/2022 15:45

@mrshodgy21 true!

i think my brain just likes to think of the worse case scenario X

sunnyd67 · 30/04/2022 19:22

@SupportNeed I was paying a lot of attention when the sonographer was taking the measurements, I noticed she measured the neck as 1.7mm so I knew at that moment I could breath. Of course I am aware that both tests need to be done to have the result.. I have had 4 previous miscarriage and I only know what caused the last one so it was playing on my mind a bit.

My mind is drifting again.. I am not having cramps as such but just weird stretching feeling of my stomach and sides, especially my right side. My appetite is coming back and I am not feeling so sick anymore, only occasionally in the morning but nothing compared to the last 5/6 weeks. And now I am not sure and start to have bad feeling.. I hate it 🙄🙄
