So me and my husband had unprotected sex on 30th march, I know so silly but it just happened so please no judge!! We have a 3 year old and 6 month old baby so another one was not on the cards right now. Obvs if we are we will have to accept it but I feel so on edge that I’ve done some test. I’m not sure on when my period is due as it’s irregular so I waited 10 days to do the early test. Both yesterday and today is negative. Is that enough time to trust it or should I do more? Tia!

Sperm can live for up to 5 days (I think, open to correction on this), so if you ovulated in the 4-5 days after the unprotected sex, you may not have conceived until 5-6 days ago, which would be far too early to test. Sorry for the stress it's causing you, and hope you get the outcome you are hoping for!

I would wait until next weekend and then do another one! Leave it a while so you're not throwing money away and theoretically by next weekend you'll have an answer.
