HCG level drop

Hello okay, so I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this at all.

Ok found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks and 4 days with an at-home test. I got it confirmed by blood 2 days later they didn't tell me the HCG level just that it was the first month.

No pregnancy symptoms whatsoever NOTHING.

I went then to a fertility clinic I was going to to confirm a second time. because my clear blue test went from 3+ that night to 2-3 weeks that morning. (later that afternoon it went back to 3+)

At 4 weeks and 5 days my level was 5000. I was told not to stress this is a strong pregnancy but do second blood work in 2 days.

2 days later at 5 weeks my HCG dropped to 48000. They sound very concerned and alluded to a miscarriage. (I have had 2 previous miscarriages.)

Still zero pregancy symtoms. But also zero symptoms of miscarrying. No cramps or bleeding. So I'm super paranoid!!

Is this a missed miscarriage? Should I give up hope?

I'm waiting on my blood results for the third HCG level test. I also am taking progesterone suppositories. I don't know what to think. I woke up today and had the slightest sensation in my nipples. I really don't want to get myself excited and then have to deal with another miscarriage.

I know the possibility of miscarriage is high and should prepare myself.
Any advice?

4weeks 5 days HCG 5000
5 weeks HCG 48000

Sorry, is the second HCG level wrong? Did you mean 4800 and not 48000?

If you meant 4800 I think the only thing you can do is wait for the third result
