Okay I know this is going to seem like a bizarre post and I know no one can give me an answer but I won't be able to get a test until tomorrow afternoon.
Having been TTC for number 1 now for 17 months and not even had a sniff of a BFP. Both just into our 30s and basic investigations haven't found anything of concern. Despite this the length of time trying has meant I've sort of become resigned to needing some intervention so we have just started saving. Again because we have been trying for so long the days of having hopes up, having lots of tests in the house and early testing are long gone. Seeing the stark negative is just too hard. However, this cycle I got my peak on day 17 and so assume ovulated on 18 (this is a couple of days later than usual) and I have now reached day 32 (14dpo) and no sign of AF (although absolutely no pregnancy symptoms at all either) I usually spot from about 11/12 DPO and bleed properly from 13/14. I did however test positive for covid on CD23 (very mild symptoms of a slight cough). Has anyone found that covid delayed their period even if they tested positive after ovulation?? I am triple vaxed if that makes a difference. Or is it really possible that it's finally my time for a BFP?! Any experiences welcome!

Sorry didn’t want to read and run.

Some women have said that their periods have been different after having covid or getting any of the vaccinations. It’s common to have a delayed or irregular period after being unwell too.

I know what it’s like, I was in a similar position and I gave up hope. It’s a tough time and it can really get you down. Keep in there, it’s great you’re saving money for some help.
When I gave up, stopped the testing and then started saving I finally got my bfp.

When you’re ready, go buy a test.
I really hope you get the answer you hope for Flowers

Just thought I would update managed to get hold of a FRER earlier than I thought. Stark negative - am heartbroken. In 17 months of TTC I have never been late and have never not had pre AF spotting. My only thought is covid has done something despite me getting it way after my positive OPK. So sad and angry :-( there's a tiny glimmer in me that says my test wasn't with FMU but it was a FRER so at 15DPO regardless of hold it would be positive if I was pregnant :-(

I’m so sorry to hear that! I’d make an appointment with the doctor just to get checked over and talk to them about ttc. They will hopefully give you some good advice!

Can relate with op to a degree so thought I'll add my experience so far. We're in our mid 30s, so a bit older, ttc (probably a bit of a stretch, some timings involved but mostly just stopped pill) for 3yrs. After 2 went through Dr's and similarly no reasons as to why it hasn't happened. As we'd discussed this before we knew we'd likely call it quits soon due to age and just to not concentrate on smth thats not meant to be (did not want to go down ivf route). So last 6 months or so just kind of forgot about it all and - surprise we got our bfp 2mth ago 😊 had our 12wk scan last week and all looked well.
Not sure if that is of any help but think it may have helped me to know that even if all is OK, sometimes it takes quite a bit longer than some lucky ones who get a bfp in the first month ttc 🙄
