Advice please!! Is it safe to TTC after one period post D&C before IVF starts?

Hi Everyone. Sorry for yet another question. I had a hysteroscopy polyp removal early FEB then conceived naturally within same cycle. Unfortunately the embryo never developed so had to have a D&C last week, we were about to start IVF right before we found out about the pregnancy so the clinic now said I have to wait for 2 more periods before IVF can start post D&C. I definitely will not try first cycle but wondering if it is safe to try naturally on second cycle before IVF starts? ABsolutely terrified of another failed pregnancy as I would need yet another/3rd operation in 6 months...

My situation was a bit similar to yours. I miscarried at 12 weeks last year and had a D&C. My period came back after about 7 weeks in late November. My IVF consultant said there was no reason why we couldn't try naturally before starting IVF again in February.

Thank you so much for your reply. Hopefully my first period comes ASAP. But I am so terrified if we succeed it would be another MMC.

It's hard isn't it? I so desperately wanted to be pregnant but was also so scared of another miscarriage. I will keep my fingers crossed that it all works out for you.
