Tango Ice Blast

I found out last week my partner and I are expecting for the first time..we're so excited! I'm hopefully doing everything right, but the all day morning sickness and nausea is getting me very anxious as my appetite has significantly decreased. I've cut out caffeine as soon as we found out and without thinking this afternoon to try and get my taste buds going and to get something down me, I ordered a Tango Ice Blast. I've read up online other expectant mothers have had them in the first trimester and all is fine. I'm just understandably paranoid and conscious of every little thing. Would be grateful for some advice/reassurance 😊. Thank you x

Why would they not be fine?

tiredanddangerous · 09/04/2022 17:41

Why wouldn't it be ok? Did you put vodka in it or something?

WaterBottle123 · 09/04/2022 17:42

Are you worried the baby will come out orange?

mumofEandE · 09/04/2022 17:47

It's going to be a loooong 9 months!

Hugasauras · 09/04/2022 17:49

Stick to the NHS advice. Don't Google anything else. I don't know what a Tango ice blast is, presumably some sort of slushie, but it's not going to cause any harm to a baby.

You don't have to give up caffeine.

You'll be using it a lot.

I could have sworn Tango Ice Blast was a rollercoaster. It never even occurred to me it was a real drink too Blush

For anyone of a certain age a Tango Ice Blast is basically a Slush Puppy Grin

Loads of pregnant women have these with no issues as ice can be a huge craving for some people.

dementedpixie · 09/04/2022 18:49

They sell them at my local cinema. The kids like them but they make my teeth ache

HollowedOut · 09/04/2022 18:51

Mate, it’s a slushie. Chill.

CaptainCarp · 09/04/2022 18:55

Tango doesn't have caffeine in it.
The ice blast is just frozen/slushied version of it.

You can have some caffeine whilst pregnant.

Also baby is like a leech even with a decrease in appetite it'll be getting what it needs by "stealing" it from you.

crazyhairbear · 09/04/2022 19:05

I'm 27+2 and I've had more tango ice blasts in the last 27 weeks than I've had in my life 🤣

Ducksurprise · 09/04/2022 19:07

I want one. I crunched ice in one of my pregnancies, looking back I must have been so annoying in antenatal. I'm very sorry.

Congratulations BTW.

emmajane90 · 09/04/2022 19:49

I was about to be extremely upset if we weren't allowed these, our local corner shop has installed an ice blast machine, coinciding with my pregnancy, and being that I'll be 5-7 months pregnant in summer I'm very much looking forward to waddling down there on a regular basis to get one.

HardRockOwl · 09/04/2022 20:22

No they're very dangerous indeed Hmm
