37 weeks reduced movements

Hoping someone can give me some advice, I’m 37 weeks pregnant, I’ve been to and from the hospital from 30 weeks with reduced movements including everyday this past week!
I went for a CTG this morning and they said baby didn’t meet criteria but to come back in a week, I’m so worried that he hasn’t met criteria and I’m constantly having reduced movements!

Has this happened to anyone else?

That sounds so scary. What criteria are you referring to? Baby doesn’t need to move constantly but follow a pattern each day. I hope you get some reassurance soon.

Keep going back. Keep a diary of movements.

Not too sure on the criteria but reduced movements we are told to call in so I would be doing that daily x sounds stressful though x

Please just keep going, even if you're concerned again today - just go back. You know your baby and at our hospital, any time you go in for reduced (or altered) movements, they say as you're leaving that you just need to go back with any concerns at all. It's not worth the risk.

I'm assuming the Dawes Redman criteria.

I had similar issues and there is no way they would have waited for a week to check again after a monitoring session where the criteria hadn't been met.
I had monitoring most days, extra scans to measure cord blood flow and they always said they'd rather do more monitoring.
I had an ELCS just over 38 weeks (it was already arranged but could have done it due to the reduced movements, I didn't want to be induced).

If you have any worries keep going back and see what the plan is. Babies should still move towards the end of your pregnancy.

Thank you so much I rang back and asked to be seen again I’m back on the monitor it’s been such a stressful few weeks.
There plan is as long as everything goes ok on this monitoring to be seen by a consultant Monday!

It’s good that your to be seen by a consultant. Meantime even if you have to go in multiple times a day just do that. These late stages are stressful enough at the best of times.
