Empty gestational sac

Hi,

I am supposed to be 6+2 weeks had an early scan due to previous MC and they found a 9mm gestational sac which was empty.

I am praying my dates are wrong and everything is fine but they sent me away with a pregnancy of unknown location leaflet and said to wait a few weeks.

Is this normal if my dates were wrong? Or should I be worried? Currently have so many emotions but trying to remain calm.

It's possible your dates are wrong, I was out by a week with mine so hopefully on your next scan you'll see a baby bean - fingers crossed lovely x

I was dated 7+6 when we went for an early scan Friday but if I actually go by the week I ovulated as we only bd 2x I would of actually only been 5+6
Was told I had an empty gestational sac and they called it a pregnancy of unknown location so been going out my mind all weekend, I have another scan next Friday, but I looked at the photo they gave me and I'm sure I can see the start of a yolk sac, what do you think?
On the first left in the sac I see a really light round circle

@LoopeyK the pregnancy would still be dated 7,6 due to the date of your last period, i.e. roughly 2 weeks before ovulation.

@Regenbogen22 yes I know how they date it but they told me due to not knowing when I ovulated it may just mean I'm earlier hence why they don't see a yolk sac earlier, I have a scan Friday to see if its developed more, hopefully it has I have closer pictures where I see a small white faint circle appearing and took tests too

I am in the same position.
6 weeks preganant and only 7mm gestational sac found on the ultrasound.

I really hope it worked out for you! I’m currently in the same position and really worrying :(. Next scan at the end of the week.

Hey unfortunately it didn't work out I ended up having a miscarriage at 11 weeks and then had another the following month around 5 weeks

It was horrific mentally I won't lie 2yrs ttc and ended in a painful mc. Wouldn't wish it on anyone. We have decided to take a break until Xmas now to let me heal mentally

You’ve got to do what right for you in this terribly sad and emotional situation. It really is mentally exhausting. Wishing you all the luck on your journey

Sorry to jump on your post but I have just found out I have had a miscarriage after having a few scans due to a sac but the egg yolk not growing so today it was confirmed nothing had changed since last week. I was 7.5 weeks when I’d miscarried so I’m having to go through the next step tomorrow I’m not looking forward to it
