We're still nowhere near reaching agreement on this but, out of interest, which sounds better George Edmund or Edmund George?

They're both really nice, but I think George Edmund flows ever so slightly better.

MimisMama · 08/01/2008 16:52

My brother's called Edmund ('Ned') Joseph so I think Edmund George sounds better! Its a fab name - well done!!

paulaplumpbottom · 08/01/2008 16:52

They both are nice

fingerwoman · 08/01/2008 16:58

i like edmund george

Kezza7779 · 08/01/2008 18:35

i like george but not so sure about the edmund sio would say george edmund,

I think u should think about the child and what he would rather be called? I.e Edmund is an older fashioned type name....

MuffinMclay · 08/01/2008 20:58

Getting nowhere with this! I like George but not Edmund, dh vice versa. I thought I was compromising by allowing dh to have Edmund at all (albeit as a second name that never got used). My argument is that I will use the name much more than him, so ought to have more of a say.
