Please help :(

Hey everyone, sorry if this is silly but here goes. I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant in Feb and had a medical abortion.
Today i was feeling weird and felt the same way i did when i found out….done a clearblue test…. 1-2weeks pregnant.
i started the mini pill after my medical termination so no period anyway but I have not had sex in 5 weeks, I am alittle confused.

My main question is; is 2 medical abortions in this time frame safe? Please no judgements as I feel awful :(((

I would think this is a new pregnancy, the clear blue test measures the weeks from implantation whereas pregnancies are measured from your last period (usually 2 weeks before implantation)

Do you mean you haven't had sex once your abortion?

I'm not sure about 2 medical abortions close together being safe, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. If I was you I would be concerned that termination wasn't successful. Did you do the pregnancy test they give you to do a few weeks after it, and was it negative?

Sorry maybe I made it unclear… I have sex after the abortion. I was just confused about the 1-2 week time frame as its been 5 weeks since last sex

That was my initial worry but I did the test 3 weeks after abortion and it was only one line (negative)

The 1-2 weeks is from conception. Pregnancy is dated from last menstrual period so if you have a regular cycle the 1-2 weeks really equates to 3-4 weeks pregnant. And sperm can live for some time , 5 days I think, so it is possible the dates add up. I can't answer about the safety of the closeness of abortions, sorry.

Thank you for your help. I am on cerelle and do not have a period at all :( I just feel so worried and have to wait until Monday to contact the health clinic :(
