I had my 32 week growth scan today, I was diagnosed with GD at 22 weeks and am on metformin.
Todays growth scan shown an increase in amniotic fluid (polyhydramnios) this can normally happen when the GD isn't well controlled but I was under the impression mine was.
I have been referred to have another scan to check over the baby kidneys etc and a blood test to rule out anything else.
I've been stressed since receiving this news, has anyone had a similar situation and what was the outcome. TIA
