So Grateful....But So Unwell!

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday.....hope you are all well.
I am currently seven weeks pregnant after trying for a while and it seeming like it may not work so I don't want to seem ungrateful with this post but in the past two weeks I have been very unwell. I can keep very little down and have tried ginger, acupuncture bands, dry toast, crackers, all the remedies online.
On Tuesday I did an online consultation as my own GP was away and they prescribed me Stemetil but they seem to do nothing apart from make me sleepy.
I am now at a point where I am afraid to eat because I know it will just come up....I'm thinking about going to an out of hours doctor tonight to see if they can do anything. I've also started a new job eight weeks ago so I really didn't want to take sick leave but the past two days I have (secretly) thrown up in work and had to leave early

Hi! Join us on the hyperemesis support group! There is a lot of really good advice on there and know that you are not alone! It took me until week 9 to find the right medication for me and I’d been through 4 different ones. Ring your GP and tell them it’s not working and they’ll try you on something else :)

I was like this too and nothing helped. Iv been on 3 different sickness meds and the last one was the most helpful it was called Prochlorperazine. I’m 15 weeks now and thankfully since the weekend I haven’t been sick at all. I feel it’s passed and I hope it stays this way. Iv Been sent to hospital twice by my gp as it was just too much and I was dehydrated
