Is any one else 14/15 weeks and some days baby moves lots and other days baby doesn’t move?

I’m 14/15 weeks and been feeling baby move a few weeks and they are first were maybe once a week little flutters but they got stronger and I was feeling baby move most day but not much yesterday or today. I know it’s far too early to worry about movements as baby is so small and could have just turned around and facing my back or something. Do other people get quiet days early on too?

Is this your first baby?
I didn't feel movement until close to twenty weeks so can't comment! I had feeling before that but it was more stretching or wind 😂
Always contact your midwife if concerned about movement is the advice though!

No it’s not my first I just can’t remember lol but it says in my notes hospital won’t see you for reduced movements before 24 weeks so I assume there is a good reason for that such as baby is small and can hide away where you won’t feel movement

I'm 15w with baby 2 and haven't yet felt movements, some butterflies occasionally but nothing definitive. Guess it's different for everyone

I had this, midwife said baby is so tiny at that stage they can easily go into a space that you can't feel, they're mostly still in our pelvis. Even at 24 weeks when I was a bit worried she still said that they will often move into a place where you don't feel them.

It took a couple of weeks for me to feel any kind of daily pattern with my pregnancy. I started feeling odd movements at 15 weeks, by 17 or so they were daily. Baby now a week old and doing well. Congratulations on your pregnancy x

I'm 18w and no real sense of movement, you are far to early to feel anything regular

I’m 14+2 with baby no2 and I’ve been feeling them move for the last 3 days! Yesterday felt them moving around quite a bit but today nothing! They have clearly just moved position. They are so tiny still there’s no way you could establish movements yet :)

When I was pregnant baby would be doing somersaults in my womb, I'd be like 'stooop!' baby would stop for about a day, I'd panic and convince myself baby was in trouble.

Next day somersaults, pleading to stop. Then no movement, went to hospital once.

Really not fun. But the hospital say you are never wasting their time and always to go and get checked if you are worried and they will monitor you.

It's something that caused so much stress for me, which in itself is bad. So try not to worry and just be sensible and go to hospital if worried. Try kick counting for peace of mind, and you may find baby has a pattern you can track and that can stop you worrying.

Hospital will not see anyone for reduced movements Before 24 weeks but as people say baby is very small and can get into spaces we can’t feel so this seams common

I’ve been the exact same , I called my hospital when I was 16 weeks as I had been feeling baby move for a few weeks and they said they would listen to babies heartbeat for 1 minute with a Doppler :-)

I haven’t felt baby at all today even tried to lay on my tummy but nothing. Had a gender scan yesterday and baby was just fine then

Same! I am 15+4 ... baby has been super active for the last 10 days or so and today absolutely nothing lol. X

I'm amazed people are feeling the baby at 14+ weeks. This is my second but 7 year gap so maybe that makes a difference ?

Nikki037297 · 11/04/2022 21:49

A couple of small movements today but still not like what she has been. Had a listen in with my Doppler and if I keep it still she comes and goes so she is dancing around in there I don’t understand why I’m not feeling her!! All I can think is she’s got her back to my belly so all her kicks are going towards my back. I hope she rolls back around soon so I can feel her again
