as long as you have felt it move a bit it should be ok. If you are worried your midwife won't mind you contacting her in the slightest, and she could listen to the heartbeat.

Hi rdk,

Yes, call the midwife if you are worried. They don't get you to start doing kick count till about 28 weeks as baby's movements are fairly irrregular before then... Having said that, I just ended up in the delivery suite on New Year's Day as baby wasn't moving much AT ALL for 3 days and they monitored me and all was fine. My LO doesn't seem to have a waking/sleeping pattern, he seems to be active for like 3 days and then goes quiet for 3 days and so on... Each baby is different so if you are worried, ring your midwife, the midwives and doctors were all lovely when I went in on Mew Year's Day!

absolutly,I went to be monitored when i was thirty weeks, and it must of been the tightness of the belt as she suddenly woke up and kicked for england!!

Round that time mine went from churning around in my pelvis all day to moving up and kicking and punching, which felt like less movement and it worried me, but he soon adjusted the balance and at 37 weeks still plays rugby 24/7! But a quick visit to the midwife beats a sleepless night hands down!
