Ectopic pregnancy

Hi everyone, I’m just wondering if anyones had an ectopic pregnancy and if I’m being silly or this sounds like it could be one. I’m only 10dpo and got my positive this morning very faint, I’ll attach a picture. I’m my left ovary for 2/3 days I’ve been getting an awful pain that’s so bad I can’t move when it happens and it makes me hot and I’m worried it might be ectopic, I’ve googled the symptoms and don’t have any others. Would love some opinions

Hello Georgia. Your test looks normal for 10dpo. But if you have a pain so bad you can't move you need to speak to the Dr and get checked out. Hopefully everything is fine, good luck!

Seconding that you should see a doctor if the pains that bad. Usually ectopic pregnancies present later, because the fertilised egg is still tiny at 10DPO. You can get pain from the follicle, but definitely needs checking if that severe

Oh I’m definitely going to get it checked but I can’t get an appointment till Monday, you’d think for something like this they’d have squeezed me in today!

I think if you're only 10dpo then things are so tiny that waiting for Monday will be fine! Not for your nerves though, so take it easy and try to distract yourself.

Even with ectopics they are reluctant to scan at least than 6 weeks - I've had 2 both ruptured and was refused scans less than 6 weeks

It's so early there is no way to confirm an ectopic for sure until it's either big enough to be seen on a scan or your hcg levels get to a certain point but nothing seen on a scan
