Cervix pain!

Currently 37 weeks tomorrow, 3rd baby booked for a c-section in 2 weeks.

I'm getting a lot of pain feels like its on my cervix / bum? When he moves never had this with my previous two! Is this normal?

Pain or pressure? I had pressure when expecting DS which did turn painful. He was born 36 hours after it first started.

@mummyh2016 both! When he moves its pain iv had to breathe through it a couple of times, but there is a lot of pressure as well!

I'm struggling to even sit up properly, iv got the midwife tonight if I mention it will she check my cervix?

Could be lightening crotch. Happened to me near the end every time I walked.

Worth mentioning in case it looks like baby won't hang on for another 2 weeks

@Twizbe it's not lightning crotch as I definitely had that with the other two, it feels like someone is pushing down on my cervix, I was induced with my last 2 so iv never experienced what it feels like to go into labour myself! I hope he does hold on I'm full of a cold

Ask the midwife to have a check.

I had a horrible cold when I had my second. She caught it from me at a few days old.

When I actually gave birth all the cold symptoms went away, I guess the adrenaline kicked in

@Twizbe thats good to know! She didn't check but she did say it sounds like my body's getting ready so to ring if I feel any contractions! Especially as its my 3rd if the hormones release that start labour my body will know what to do and I could end up going quite fast 🤯

I've had this for a couple of weeks, shooting pains that knock me of my feet, feels like there's a watermelon between my legs and I'm now sitting down with my legs wide open because it's the only way it lessons the pain😩 I'm due in four days and still no sign! Good luck
