Confused help please re baby size

Hi all,
So I had my 28 week midwife app this time last week and she had a feel of my stomach measured bump etc. Then put a little cross on the graph but nothing about size was mentioned. Looking at my notes after I noticed she put baby on over 95th percentile. Looking back at my 20 week scan notes baby’s femur was on 95th (the rest on 50 or lower). So my question is is she going on the size by the 20 week scan or what she felt of my stomach? Bump was measuring 29 at 28 weeks so I’ve been told a week over is nothing. No one has mentioned having a big baby etc and my next app with her is not till 34 weeks. I had diabetes test the other day but that was planned from beginning due to my mum having diabetes. Sorry for long post just a little confused as no one has mentioned having a whopper of a baby and my previous 2 were 6 pound and 6.7 so quite small. Thank you 😊

I presume she measured your bump? It's a highly inaccurate way of checking the baby's size so I wouldn't be overly concerned.

First measurement of bump is taken as a baseline and unless it measures way off e.g. 31-32 weeks at 28 weeks or really behind- your first measurement won't earn you a growth scan, however if on next measurement it's increased loads or barely increased you'll be sent for a scan.

Measuring fungal height is hugely inaccurate so take measurements lightly
