Iv been being sick since before I missed my period up until the weekend which I was sent to hospital twice last last for several vomiting and dehydration: then last time I was sick was Saturday. Woke up Sunday felt good. Not been sick since. I’m worried why it’s just suddenly gone when it was so bad. I am almost 15 weeks: baby has been moving around just fine since I stopped being sick so I know she’s ok but I’m worried my hormone levels are dropping as I read the symptoms disappearing are a bad sign. Should I call my midwife as I don’t see her for a few more weeks

You can call your midwife for reassurance. However i think it is pretty normal for first trimester symptoms to disappear around the 12-16 week mark. Not many people suffer from morning sickness for the whole pregnancy.

Completely normal, it normally goes around 16 weeks.

HCG (which causes morning sickness) typically peaks around 8-11 weeks, and then falls quite rapidly from there, so it is completely expected that around your gestation your morning sickness would be resolving. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy Smile
